My Fall Break
Overall, my fall break was disappointing, but at the end of the day I made some money. I worked four out of the five days of my break (starting with last Friday, ending with Tuesday), which I was pretty unhappy about, but after thinking about it more, I doubt I would have done anything fun with my time off anyways. Despite working most of the break, I was able to have some fun and relax as well. On Friday night, after I finished working, my older cousin came to my house, and we basically just hung out and played video games all night. The next night, it was a similar situation, but after work I went to a friend's going-away party. This friend is going to the Marines and leaves for training in a few days, so it was nice for him to have a party with a lot of his friends before leaving home for a long time.
That concludes the fun things I did over the break, with the rest of my break consisting of basically of working and doing a few homework assignments. I had a programming assignment due in my C++ class, which I was initially unhappy with. However, after starting the assignment, I realized this assignment wouldn't take up a whole day of my break like I originally assumed, and I was able to complete it in about twenty minutes. The only other assignment I did over break was for my Origin of the Universe class, which I find very hard to comprehend at times. In the class we discuss things such as space-time, which makes absolutely no sense to me, but in general, the formation of the universe is something that really interests me and I am glad I am learning more about.
I'm glad to hear you got some things done over your break. I did not really do much with mine other than relax. I did get some assignments done like you, however. I also have a friend who is leaving for the Navy soon and he just had a going away party. It is very sad to see someone you are very close with go away.
