Reflection on Experiential Learning Project

I would say this project has gone very smoothly in general. Despite some hiccups, everything was done more-or-less on time, at least according to our group's timeline. I was in charge of creating the timeline, which was my main task, but I do feel that I contributed quite a bit in other areas as well, specifically in the creation of the contract and the presentation. I am usually not a big fan of group projects, because I like to work at my own pace, and my pace usually involves getting things done as soon as I possibly can. From my experience, many others that I have met seem to prefer to put their homework off until last-minute, so if I am in a group with people like that, it does not feel like it goes well. Luckily, in the experiential learning project, our entire group seemed to want to get things done as soon as possible, which has allowed us to be in a great place for the majority of the project.

The non-profit organization out group chose was Prevention Works Inc.

From the very first day of the project, I have been happy with our group and our project as a whole. The people in my group have all been nice, and although none of us were particularly talkative, we always seemed to be on the same page and get the work done. Upon hearing about this project for the first time, the aspect I was most dreading was the interview, but thankfully one of our group member's parents are associated with Prevention Works Inc, so the interview process was much easier than I anticipated. It was also very helpful that we had an unusually large group, which made the workload on each person less than what it otherwise would have been. Overall, I am very happy with our final product, and I am pleased to say that I have made some new friends throughout this project.

  1. It was fun working with you! I think that we did a good job together and definitely wouldn't mind working together again in the future.
